The pens have very fine tips which are excellent for details. Although the box didn’t mention for use on paper, I found it worked nicely to practice on typing paper. Also, I used it for rock painting. The ink seems to dry quickly. After a few seconds, I can touch the ink, and it doesn’t smudge or build colors on top of each other. The ink pours out through the tip smoothly and evenly. It’s important to understand that you need to shake the markers first, then push the tip multiple times until the ink begins to flow. For example, the pink and green markers started right away while the blue took a lot longer. Vivid, fun colors!
